I’m Laura. Since 2008 I’ve kept this journal as a record of a reflective and changing life: family and homeschooling, things made by hand, my garden, meals shared, slow living, analog intention.
I recently restored this blog as an antidote to social media. These pages hold 15 years of moments remembered — seasons in the Blue Ridge, a beach house in December, a move across the country.
I also write poems. In 2023 I opened the Charlottesville Poem Store, where I write poems on demand, on the spot. Come find me there.
