roasting coffee @ home

Cooler weather brings the smell of green coffee beans roasting out on our back deck. We all wait quietly and listen for first crack. The beans are best the day after roasting. And the coffee is smooth and delicious.

i said yes

It was hard work. I had to lift heavy pine branches over my head to finish the lean-to, and while I held still to staple the sides of the tee pees, the mosquitoes nearly ate my face off.
